![]() ![]() Thank you a ton, have a very amazing day and stay safe my friends. So I thought this would be a good place to ask since I bet people are way more experienced on the subject of VR than me.Ĭonclusion: So that is my question I would like to thank anyone who took the valuable time and effort out of their day to read and maybe even respond to this long post it is so very much appreciated and I know that your help will have a great impact on my journey in the hobby of VR gaming. (If requested I can share links to some just don't want to flood this post.) Anyways I have been finding the different 2.0 base stations difficult to discern and was wondering if there are any quality differences between them and what ones would you recommend as the overall best for tracking and VR quality. Question: Based off the research I've done online so far and the few recommendations online and from friends I've gotten about base stations is that the Steam VR base station 2.0s are the best for tracking in games and I was wondering if other people would agree with that or if people prefer other base stations and why? (I read so far that 2.0s work with the head set and controller so not to worried about that.) Another concern I've had about Steam VR 2.0 base stations is if there is any differences between them because when I look online it shows a couple like it says the Valve Index Base Stations are 2.0 tracking, then there is the HTC SteamVR 2.0 base stations, SteamVR Base Station 2.0s that I see Pimax selling, and then some other ones that I see online. I know with these things I will need base stations for proper tracking, but that has been one of the most confusing things for me. So I have been doing research for VR gaming equipment for about a month already and I am currently saving up the money to purchase a Pimax Vision 8K X and two Valve Index Controllers because from the research I've done and the recommendations I've gotten they are some of the best in terms of quality. r/PimaxVR (Not In Use) /r/Pitool /r/VirtualReality /r/SteamVR /r/VRGaming /r/Vive /r/Oculus /r/GearVR /r/AndroidVR /r/PSVRīackground: Hello there, my name is TOAOG and first off thank you to anyone who is reading this.
